The "Hottest Girls" app was apparently approved because the iPhone 3.0 software includes age-verification controls for the App Store.

Initially the apple denied to approve the software, but then it has been approved with parental guide. Means one has to verified their age before downloading the software.
Before downloading the software a pop-up occur whether you are 17 or not. If yes then enter. But this kind of verification dont work according to me. Anybody can enter yes and can download the software.
Ihad been searching for mobile softwares on net and many times i had been came across the bunch of porn games for mobile. I had sawn people downloading such content even they are not old enough to do so.
By making a porn application official i cant understand what they intend to do so. As they are officially invited the users. And the most problem would be with the parents.
